Sorry! CMB finally back to the computer after a long hiatus and having Makely carry the blogging load for a bit. We are now in Bangkok and desperate to catch up to our current location. Xi’an Xi’an…. great town. Nothing overly special about the city itself but both Makely and I found ourselves liking this city. I think part of the reason maybe have been that we didn’t have too many big sights that we thought we had to see so we did a lot of relaxing and wondering of the city to soak it up and basically eat a bunch of Muslim Chinese food…. all different and really good. Now for some details…. So we left the Beijing a little sad as we had become quite good friends with the coolest girls in Beijing at the Gulou hostel. We left that night to try out our first train in China, an overnighter to boot. We get to the train station a bit early since we weren’t sure what we were in for and good thing as I think 1/3 of China are on the trains at any given time. The place was a zoo… people every where, eating, sleeping, stacked on top of each other… crazy full. We bought a few snacks and drinks for the road and jumped on board.
