Very reminiscent of Bill Murray as the Suntory Whiskey spokesman in “Lost in Translation.” And now the rest: Under the influence of mefloquine (an anti-malaria drug we’re taking for SE Asia), which as Cheryl confirms, causes such side effects as nausea and wildly vivid dreams, we made our way to the World Expo outside Nagoya. We found the World Expo to be a very crowded, large-scale Epcot Center. The popularity of some country exhibits, as measured by the Disneyland-like lines, was in no way proportional to the exhibit’s worthiness.
