I thought today warranted some peaceful time attempting a combination of Ancient Verse and Painting together. I was inspired by a tiny booklet that came with a CD for Traditional old Chinese Music. These tiny paintings were very raw and scratchy and in their simplicity I really found a lot of spirit by the artist. So I attempted a kind of concoction of all of them. But managed to drift off on my own practice slant and this was the result. I dont normally try Chinese Landscapes as I find them phenominally difficult, being only a tutee of the Chinese Arts and not yet mastered the fragility of Chinese Xuen. Two years down the line in this field is nothing. I am still a child outputwise. But I love it anyway. The fun is in the trying. The challenge is in the journey.
