Its first train sets were built in Germany by Siemens. Its maximum speed is 350km/h (217 mph). On July 13th, I went from Beijing North Station to the Badaling Great Wall. I rode the Hexie Great Wall Train ?????. It took about 1 hour. It went pass the site of the nearest section of the Great Wall from Beijing. On July 14th, I went from Beijing North Station to Qinhuangdao ???. I saw the west end of the Great Wall in the sea. I rode the CRH5 high-speed train. It is based on Alstom’s ETR600. I took shots of Beijing, Tianjin, Badaling and Qinhuandao on July 12-14th, 2009.
