This presentation provides a rough guide to recent Chinese history (the last 110 years or so). Based on this history; what goes around comes around. I start off at the turn of the last century with the Boxer rebellion and the eight powers of Russia Japan France UK Germany Italy US Austria Hungary, I also talk about the US White Fleet and Spanish American War as well as the Russo Japanese War, as we move into the failure of the Qing Dynasty (Manchu Dynasty), Sun Yat Sen, Chiang Kai-shek, the KMT party, formation of the Communist Party, Japanese Invasion of Manchuria, Chinese Communism, the Nixon Kissinger Visit, the Gang of Four, early reforms of Deng Xaioping, Tiananmen Square, Current Leadership, and Historic Trends.
