Clothes,computers, shoes, toys tea, rice and just about everything else found at Walmart comes from china and much is shipped from here. These people smoke like chimneys with a three pack a day average habit, so Phillip Morris is doing quite well here thankyou. McDonald’s has stores on almost every corner and they sell basically the same things as home, except for a soup and noodle dish. They are hugely succesful here as people often go there for birthday’s and other special occasions. This is an area of stark contrasts: People move things around by bike handtruck and wheelbarrow, which were invented here centuries ago. Meanwhile there are modern shopping areas selling western goods, with brandnames unknown at home. This is a place that despite census figures not accurate, has 14 million people in the metroplitan area. this is a place that 10 years ago had the worst pollution I have ever seen, from …
