??????Johan Ku Surprises Fashion World? www.mactv.com.tw Emotional Sculpture blurs the line between fashion and fine art. It’s something that’s wearable, yet also a sculpture. That’s why I choose to work with wool. With wool, my imagination can run wild. I can use wool to weave something solid like a sculpture. Yet I can also weave fine details. This 3-D weaving technique can’t be replicated with fabric. I invented this weaving technique. Most manufacturers don’t have the skills to replicate the 3-D feel of the material. So, this type of clothing is quite unique. Education in Taiwan emphasizes science and technology, not creativity. Taiwan lags behind other countries in terms of fostering creativity. In other countries, designers may have less technical training, but they know that creativity is indispensable.

Mr. Eyeball, aka Chen Bo-wei, has established himself as a musician, artist, visual artist and even clothing manufacturer. His music, often described as “offbeat” and “kitsch,” demonstrates only part of various skills. For More: www.eyeball.com.tw
