It’s been 20 years since Master Cheng Yen first appealed to the people of Taiwan to start recycling. Now, there are over 80000 recycling volunteers around the island, who contribute to conservation work on a daily basis. One Taiwanese company, Singtex Technical Fabric, has even come up with environmental clothing, made partially from coffee grounds. The material not only absorbs sweat, but has a deodorizing effect as well. Making a silent contribution Here at the environmental fashion show, these models show off clothes made of PET bottles.
