During this time, Mapungubwe in Limpopo province was the centre of the largest kingdom in Africa, where a highly sophisticated people traded gold and ivory with China, India and Egypt. After Mapungubwe’s fall, it was forgotten and lost in time due to no recorded documents then hidden from society after its discovery in 1934. Mapungubwe’s location was initially kept secret as its existence conflicted with the official history of the world. This society assimilated the clothing, weaponry, and religion of the countries they traded with. They fought fiercely and discovered ancient jewels that gave them immense powers. It was a time when Gods walked the land. There lived a man named MercilesZ, this is his story. Jon Jackson busting an ollie over a sketchy channel gap down at China Beach in San Francisco’s Sea Cliff neighborhood. I cant remember the dudes name that ollies the gap behind him, but he also rips. It may not look like it, but this gap was nearly impossible to skate. Not only was the ground sandpaper rough, but the landing was super sketchy and steep. Look how fast these guys are going when they land. The girl parading around in the mini skirt in the background is some weird Asian car model chick that happened to show up while we were skating. She was there shooting pictures for her modeling portfolio. Funny thing is, the weather was terrible for shooting pics, especially glamour shots. Not only that, but it was barely pushing 50 degrees. I can only imagine how cold she was. I was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and beanie and still freezing my precious jewels off.
