It’s the longest running country to date that hasn’t fallen. However it has dozens of empires and dynasties throughout it’s 5000 year run. It was also one of the technological leaders up until the Baroque period in Europe. (Circa 1600 AD). Today, it faces oppression and other problems of big government but that hasn’t stopped the country from being the biggest producer on the planet. When it comes to the global economic meltdown, China remains one of the few economy’s unaffected.
