We finish packing and check out at 7am. We made a reservation at the hotel for after our tour, one less thing to figure out when we come back. We head over to the Handspan office two doors down. The café was open but no one around at the tour office, we were about 10 minutes early. After waiting for a bit, we were able to store our big packs in the luggage room of the office, this is a common practice when going on a 2day tour. We checked in with the tour desk and at 8 our bus arrived. There was one family of 3 and two twenty-something girls, on the bus with us, we figured that we would probably picking up more. But soon we were headed out of the city. The bus was pretty comfortable, but we soon realized that the suspension and shocks were useless. You know when your young and you want to sit at the back of the bus because its bouncy? Young ones would have loved this bus! Us, not so much, especially when your exhausted. Trying to sleep while getting an inch of air with every big bump, and there are a lot on these roads, is quite unsuccessful. The 3 hour ride did go quite quick, the landscape was mostly agriculture and industrial buildings.
