More than 100 people decided to throw flour in each others faces on the 1 May 2010. This Funny event was held at Qiding beach on the West coast of Taiwan. There was no special reason for the event, just young people having a unique random fun time! The beach was already full of litter before we arrived, and it was planned at low tide, so that the high tide washed away all the flour, we picked up some of the trash, leaving the beach cleaner than before we arrived. There was no waste of food and energy, if you put it into context with everyday life. The total cost of the flour was less than 6000NT ( 190 US$ ), so if 100 people had rather had one beer each, there would have been more waste of packaging, energy, and possible food manufacturing fields and processes. We also collected donations worth 4000NT for the “FEED SA” charity, so there were less hungry children after the event, than before it.
