It is famed as being the most beautiful. There is an ancient Chinese saying that says “After visiting Huangshan Mountain, there is no reason to ever visit another mountain”. It is said that each season is more beautiful than the one before. I have to say that they are absolutely correct. Huangshan Mountain is truly stunning. I’m sorry to say that nothing I could ever write, or any photo I took, could come anywhere close to describing the beauty of the place, and I took some amazing photographs. I spent two days on the mountain. In the morning of the first day I was driven to the base of the mountain where we switched to a bus which took us up to the cable car which took us up the mountain. I would have liked to climb up the mountain, but it takes about six hours, so I took the cable car. I think next time I will climb. We hiked around the back side of the mountain until lunch. The views were so stunning, that I won’t even try to describe them. Each section of the mountain’s rocks and appearance is completely different. The mountain is covered with ancient twisted pines and the day I went, the mountain was covered in clouds which hid the scenery until a gust of wind would come by and reveal the scenery in front of us like …

Hold on to your seats! This is part one of our 2010 China experience. Surviving the Real Avatar Hallelujah Mountains. Getting up the famous Hallelujah Mountains of ZhangJiaJie China was ‘easy’, but how we made it down safely was nothing less than a miracle. Hallelujah indeed!
