View in HD! (B-2970) Landing at Yichang aboard HU7109 from Beijing. Landing in the little-known place Yichang, the start of our Yangtze River cruise. This is the closest airport to Sandouping, where the Three Gorges Dam has been constructed. After landing there’s a quick application of the brakes and then we backtrack to the taxiway to lead us to the airport terminal which can be seen at the end of the video. The flight itself felt short and provided limited viewing of the Chinese landscape below us when there were brief breaks in the cloud. As you can tell from the view outside the window, the look and feel of the weather in China hasn’t changed much from Beijing!
