For breakfast, the hotel provided us. Had a nice view of Keelung and the harbour. Saw some navy ships and a commercial container ship from Hong Kong. Had a goodnight’s rest. Ready for some awesome experiences. We left the hotel at 8.30am, we were off to Yeliu GeoPark. Over there, there are various shapes and sizes of rocks carved naturally by the sea and sky, specifically the wave and the wind. there were some cool rock formation like, butter buns, snakes, hippo, queens head. It’s all up to your imaginations to see it clearly. It started to drizzle. It was common in June to rain. So be ready with your umbrellas. After taking aa few pictures, we went out of the GeoPark and went to a nearby market. It caters mostly for tourist. They sale pineapple cakes (Taiwan’s specialty), sour plums and even shoes. Next stop was JiuFen, this is my favourite place other than Taipei proper. It is on top of a hill. It is like a small town. There you will enter a small walkway. Near the entrance there is a shop which sales taro balls (yam balls) with toufu fah (something like toufu). It is the equivalent to Malaysian Snowflakes (only KL people would know this).
