The biggest issue we’ve had is our rooming situation. Long story short there was a change in plans where we are all staying and now we’re in a hotel in the business distract (cool place) of the city, each with our own rooms and bathrooms. Its an old school style hotel with each room in a different style. My room is a bit cave like with a small window in the bathroom and 80s wallpaper that was bad taste then and now haha but oh well. The flights went well, nothing really to write about other than it was a bit long, almost 13 hours. We arrived around 6 in the morning here so we went to where we were suppose to stay but the women running the hotel pretty much dropped the ball and the room was not even close to ready so we went to a hotel, eat breakfast, dropped our luggage off and went our separate ways to explore the city. I ended up hanging out with Natalie and Noli, who are really wonderful people. We ended up taking a gondola up this mountain where you have the most amazing view of Taipei and the surrounding area. Up there, there are all these trails you can walk and we choose a low key walk to this temple. Totally amazing. After that we were pretty tired so we headed back to the hotel and relaxed.
