Jesse brings us to Grandma Knittyes to get eggs and blueberry pancakes. They even have carrots cake over there. What is great about Tapei is that you can easily get to huge forest park. From my point of view, Yang min sang is a must-see. You can walk forever in the mountains, where mini-temples are found everywhere. Just walking on the path is meditation exercice. At the entrance of the park os a really nice fountains. They are nice feng shui place with pounds, waterfalls and little bridge. Pretty cool. When my roomate wants something, we know she ll get it. She heard about a cool volcano called Siayoukeng. As she speaks chinese, she was actually able to make a deal with a taxi driver. He brought us to the top of the volcano. From there, we walk and had an amazing experience. You feel on the moon. It is super windy and it smell horrible (suffre!!) but it is a really unique experience. Next step, the pou gong (museum of the national palace). Actually we never enter the museum. The best to see is the outdoor garden. It is beautiful with its pound full of rare fishes, its nice trees and paths. After that (all in one day!), we go and check out the Chang KAi chek memorial. Taiwanese owe a lot to this military servant. It brought prosperity to the country …
