The Primordial Teachings Many ancient cultures teach that sacred knowledge continuously emerges from the primordial world in the form of primordial teachings. These sacred teachings are endowed with the primordial energy of the universe itself. They come into being spontaneously and are not made. These teachings exist forever and are not destroyed. As time passes from one world to the next, these sacred texts reveal themselves. In their original form, the teachings are called The Celestial Writings. The original force and shape of the characters are one zhang (= 10 Chinese feet, SPB) square, and give forth beams in every direction shining and brilliant, so that the mind is rendered respectful and the eyes are dazzled. The Celestial Writings in their original form as celestial scripts can neither be accessible nor read — not by ordinary mortal beings or even by lower ranking gods and immortals. The Celestial Writings are handed down from the highest Gods, to the intermediate gods, to lower gods, then to immortal enlightened humans. After reaching the Immortals, they are handed on to the common men of this world. In other words: only the highest gods are able to see the original celestial writings written in cosmic script. Only in times of preceding an immense catastrophe, such as the one approaching this world, and when the whole cosmos is to be destroyed before creation starts again, may these texts can be transmitted, through a series of intermediary stages, finally …
