In Dir Ist Freude – jOrgan demo with reverb

A demo of jOrgan using one of my favorite pieces of all time, learned it this year after not playing the organ for decades and decided to play this piece to celebrate Chinese New Year. The registration is all from sound fonts controlled by jOrgan via Midi. This is played on a Linux box. In other words, the only non-free components of this instrument were the organ midi console and the (rather elderly) Intel computer hardware and a stereo reverb processor to add a bit of realism. In other words, the computer’s audio from the sound card goes through the reverb processor and then back into the console amplifiers and finally to 9 external speakers. I was using the jOrgan Silbermann Fraunkirche disposition tuned to 466 Bach Kleis temperament. In this version, I normalized the audio to make it louder and added a little reverb in post processing.
