Chinese in 5 minutes!

Here I show that Chinese without the characters (aka Pinyin) is even easier than Esperanto – you can learn to read it in just 5 minutes. This would help make Putonghua [Mandarin Chinese] an auxiliary language or lingua franca in east Asia and elsewhere. Using characters has the “benefit” of STOPPING people from using “Putonghua”. Using Pinyin more and more would open up China. I doubt the powers that be really want to open up China that much. Characters are user-hostile, making for a bad effort-to-benefit ratio.
