Chinese HerbWords is an interactive compilation from some of the best information available on this subject. In the fall of 1996, HerbalGram published an article listing the 20 most sold medicinal herbs in China (HerbalGram Number 38 Fall 1996). These are the 20 herbs in this program. Each herb has a color picture, the common Pin Yin and Pharmacopoeia name that may be clicked on to hear each pronunciation. The Acupuncture, Patent Medicine, Theory and Formula sections with the 5 Phase, Syndrome and Organ test are taken from Between Heaven and Earth by Harriet Beinfield L.Ac. and Efrem Korngold L.Ac. OMD The acupuncture section is designed with point and click fields and graphics that cross reference descriptions of exact locations of points and the conditions they are used to treat. The patent medicine section lists 50 common patents and the conditions they treat. The Protocol section is also from these authors. The Chinese Dictionary section is selected text from The Web That Has No Weaver by Ted Kaptchuk OMD on Chinese theory, physiology and meridians with pronunciations and definitions.
